Domestic and Family Violence Awareness in Housing

DFV Awareness in Housing is designed for government and community housing professionals working directly with tenants. The training builds understanding of domestic and family violence (DFV), including its root causes, coercive control, evidence-based risk factors, impacts on children, and the importance of professional self-care. Participants will learn to identify signs of abuse, respond safely and respectfully to victim/survivors, make effective referrals to appropriate services, and support both client and worker wellbeing.
